On the afternoon of May 26, the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics held a conference to summarize 12 years of implementing Directive No. 124-CT/QUTW dated March 31, 2011 of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee on strengthening leadership and direction of political education (GDCT) work at units in the new period and 10 years of implementing the Project "Innovation of GDCT work at units in the new period".
The Party Committee, the General Department of Logistics' command and the Party Committees and commanders at all levels focus on leading, directing and effectively implementing Directive 124 and the project. The Military Education Program has many innovations in the direction of being fundamental, systematic, unified, practical, inheriting and developing; ensuring comprehensiveness, appropriate to the level of awareness of each subject; linking military education with training, combat readiness, building discipline and discipline training; promoting the application of information technology in organizing military education.

Many good models and creative ways of doing things in education have been implemented such as: Organizing the editing, printing, publishing of handbooks, documents, and books distributed to units in the General Department and logistics units throughout the army for propaganda, education, and learning; establishing a Legal Reporting Group at grassroots units for legal propaganda, exchanges, and discussions... In recent times, the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command have focused on leadership and direction, with many policies and solutions to innovate content and form, closely following the characteristics and tasks of agencies and units, creating a change in the awareness of officers and soldiers. Units closely combine knowledge transfer with practical experience exchange, education and self-education; actively apply information technology, effectively exploit social networks in compiling lesson plans, lectures, and implementing educational work. From 2011 to present, the school has directed the compilation of more than 5,000 lectures, organized 16,000 hours of political teaching and learning, published more than 3,000 books on the history of the school's Party Committee and the Chronicle of events of the Army Officer School 2; organized 192 training sessions on the use of information technology; 100% of the GDCT officers are proficient in using information technology in teaching... At the conference, the school summarized the GDCT Officer Competition in 2023, awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes to candidates with high achievements in the competition.
