The conference assessed that in the first 6 months of 2023, the Tam Quang Party Committee thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the resolutions, directives and instructions from above on the task of building the Duyen Hai Economic-Defense Zone; coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to monitor and replicate effective poverty reduction models; surveyed, prepared reports and implemented poverty reduction models associated with national defense and security in 2023 to ensure strictness and quality. The work of organizing and building the Party and implementing the Grassroots Democracy Regulations was in accordance with regulations; well organized the activities of "Repaying gratitude"; visited and gave gifts to policy beneficiaries on the occasion of holidays and Tet with enthusiasm and thoughtfulness.

Major General Hua Van Tuong, Deputy Commander of Military Region 5, gave a speech directing the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Hua Van Tuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity and efforts to overcome difficulties of the Party Committee in leading and directing the unit to carry out its tasks. At the same time, he emphasized that in the coming time, the Party Committee and the Command of the Tam Quang Group need to comprehensively review all tasks, continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement resolutions, directives, orders and instructions from above, focusing on the resolutions of the Party Committee of Military Region 5, the military and defense orders in 2023 of the Commander of Military Region 5, and instructions from competent agencies; strengthen political and ideological education, making cadres and employees deeply aware of requirements and tasks, creating high consensus in perception and action.

The Deputy Commander of Military Region 5 also requested that Party committees and commanders at all levels lead and direct the review and supplementation of plans and solutions for combat readiness, flood and storm prevention, fire and explosion prevention, forest fire prevention, search and rescue, and epidemic prevention; manage and use National Defense land in accordance with regulations; proactively coordinate closely with local authorities and armed forces to grasp the situation in the area, not to be passive and surprised in any situation...
