Investigation into the death of husband and ex-wife at home

On June 9, the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ninh Police said it was investigating and clarifying the case of a couple who died at their home in Loc Thuan Hamlet, Hung Thuan Commune (Trang Bang Town). The two victims were identified as Mr. THT (33 years old, residing in Loc Thuan Hamlet, Hung Thuan Commune, Trang Bang Town) and Ms. NTTC (36 years old, ex-wife of Mr. T.).

According to initial information, Mr. T. and Ms. C. got married in 2009 and divorced in August 2022. In May 2023, the two returned to live together at Mr. T.'s house (Loc Thuan Hamlet, Hung Thuan Commune, Trang Bang Town).

On June 7, Mr. T. and Ms. C. were still living at home, and went to bed at 10 p.m. the same day as usual. At around 6 a.m. on June 8, TTB (13 years old), woke up and went to the back of the house to discover his father dead, hanging from the roof. Panicked, B. went into the house to call his mother and found Ms. C. lying dead on the bed, so he shouted for help from relatives living nearby.

Upon receiving the news, Trang Bang Town Police, along with the Office of the Tay Ninh Police Investigation Agency and other departments, arrived at the scene to investigate the incident. After completing the procedures, the police handed over the bodies of the couple to their families for funeral arrangements.
