The industry with the highest benchmark score this year is expected to be English pedagogy. Next, engineering and technology industries also have high benchmark scores, especially semiconductors and automation.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education recorded over 69,000 candidates registering for admission (over 20,000 candidates higher than last year).

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education will enroll students in 5 ways: direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; priority admission according to the school's enrollment plan; considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores; considering high school study results; considering the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment test scores. The minimum admission score based on the high school graduation exam scores of the school's majors is 15-21.85; the method of considering high school study results is 15-23; the capacity assessment score is 504-846.

Last year, the major with the highest standard score for the high school graduation exam at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education was English pedagogy with 27.5 points. The second major was Control and Automation Engineering with 26.14 points; Information Technology with 25.97 points. The school had 40 out of 66 majors/training programs with a standard score of 24 or higher. The wood and furniture industry had the lowest standard score at 20.5.
