'People miss those who leave, people love those who stay': My Ly residents tearfully bid farewell to soldiers after more than 2 weeks of standing shoulder to shoulder to overcome flood consequences

After more than 2 weeks of participating in supporting flood relief in My Ly commune, on August 15, officers and soldiers of Nghe An Provincial Military Command said goodbye to local people and returned to their units to continue training and combat readiness.

Recently, the Nghe An Armed Forces have mobilized thousands of officers, soldiers, militia and hundreds of vehicles to coordinate with units of the Ministry and Military Region 4 stationed in the area to carry out many tasks: clearing mud and soil, rebuilding houses, repairing schools, clearing waterways and cleaning the environment.

Promoting the qualities of soldiers in Uncle Ho's homeland, with the spirit and determination of "No one is left behind", continuing the tradition of "Mutual love", officers and soldiers of Nghe An province's armed forces donated more than 1 billion VND, gave dozens of tons of necessities, organized medical examinations, distributed medicine to people, sprayed disinfectants to prevent the spread of epidemics, promptly encouraged, shared difficulties, and helped people stabilize their lives soon.

The farewell took place in an emotional atmosphere, filled with the love between the army and the people. Many people from My Ly commune were present very early. Many people had prepared bottles of water and small gifts to express their gratitude for the sense of responsibility and hard work of the officers and soldiers in the past days.

With tight handshakes and lingering glances, the people of My Ly commune expressed their deep gratitude to the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command. The officers and soldiers also brought sincere feelings, considering it a great source of encouragement, adding motivation, and firmly completing the new task excellently./.
