Workers' Month 2025 with the theme "The Vietnamese working class takes the lead in entering a new era" aims to emphasize the role of the working class in the period of innovation and integration, promote innovation and strongly promote the spirit of lifelong learning to meet the requirements of the labor market in the new situation.

In the era of Industry 4.0, the labor market has many changes, which is both an opportunity and a challenge for the workforce. In that context, the working class needs to proactively innovate and continue to play the role of the main force in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.

At the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028, a number of important targets and tasks were set, including striving for at least 65% of employees at enterprises to participate in training to improve their qualifications and professional skills.

To achieve the assigned targets, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) has developed a program plan "Promoting lifelong learning activities among employees in enterprises by 2030"; directed the Unions at all levels to mobilize enterprises to organize training courses to improve knowledge and skills for employees; organized the signing and launching of emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Studying to improve all aspects of qualifications, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization" ... creating a regular movement associated with the goals, productivity and quality of operations of each unit and enterprise.

Implementing the theme of Workers' Month 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor launched the program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era". Accordingly, directing all levels of the Union to focus on promoting propaganda activities, mobilizing union members and workers to study and improve their skills; organizing competitions to propose ideas, initiatives, technical solutions, and innovate production processes. At the same time, honor and commend workers with achievements in labor and production with many initiatives and creativity; achieving high results in competitions of skilled workers.

In addition to the efforts of the Trade Union at all levels, many enterprises have proactively encouraged and motivated workers to enthusiastically innovate and create production in the spirit of "labor is the greatest asset of the enterprise".

Starting with the main business of cooperating to implement mechanical training projects, teaching mechanical software to students, in addition to prioritizing investment in technology application, developing new products and optimizing production, CNCTech Group Joint Stock Company, Thang Long Industrial Park (Binh Xuyen) always focuses on investing in people.

Every year, the company organizes training courses to improve the quality of skills for production staff; launches a technical skills competition with the theme "Innovation and creativity are the driving force for development" to encourage the spirit of innovation and creativity of staff and workers, creating new momentum for the coming period.

Comrade Mai Van Hung, Chairman of the Trade Union of CNCTech Group Joint Stock Company, shared: “In the context of fierce market competition and strict requirements from customers, improving the qualifications and skills of the workforce plays a decisive role in the success and building a solid position for the enterprise. Realizing this, in addition to focusing on training, CNCTech Group Joint Stock Company regularly organizes technical skills competitions. This is not only a playground for workers to proactively improve their skills, demonstrate their thinking ability, creativity and innovation spirit, but also contributes to improving work efficiency”.

With a spirit of self-study and a strong will to improve, many workers have proactively studied and improved their own abilities. Thanks to her perseverance in learning Chinese and working responsibly, Ms. Tran Thi Yen was highly appreciated and trusted by the Board of Directors of Compal Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Binh Xuyen) to be appointed as Production Team Leader.

Ms. Yen shared: “At first, I learned Chinese to understand basic instructions on machines to facilitate the operation of machines, but gradually it became a passion, I took advantage of my free time to research and improve. Up to now, I can not only listen and understand but also confidently communicate directly with foreign managers.”

In order for the spirit of lifelong learning to spread strongly among the workforce, in the coming time, relevant levels and sectors need to coordinate to build a flexible training system with diverse forms and contents to help workers learn according to their needs, qualifications and abilities.

Promote propaganda to change employers' awareness in organizing training courses to improve workers' skills; encourage businesses to proactively arrange and set up bookcases in resting areas in factories.

In addition, the Trade Union at all levels continues to promote emulation movements of "Excellent workers, creative workers" among union members and workers; encourage and honor outstanding and typical individuals in production labor.
