An Phuoc plums sell for high prices
(CT) - Currently, the price of An Phuoc plums in many localities in the Mekong Delta has increased 2-3 times compared to the first months of the year and is at a fairly high level. The price of An Phuoc plums is being sold by farmers in many places to traders and fruit purchasing warehouses at 27,000-30,000 VND/kg, while in February and March 2025 it was only 10,000-14,000 VND/kg. An Phuoc plums are being retailed at many fruit selling points and supermarkets at 50,000-55,000 VND/kg. In addition to consumption in the domestic market, An Phuoc plums are also exported to a number of foreign markets.
The price of An Phuoc plums has increased due to increased demand and recently reduced supply because the plum harvest in many places has ended, as well as because farmers in many places have cut down plums to switch to other crops.

(CT) - Currently, the price of Ido longan in many localities in the Mekong Delta has increased again by at least 6,000-10,000 VND/kg compared to more than 1 month ago. On August 18, the price of Ido longan was sold by farmers in Can Tho City and neighboring provinces in the Mekong Delta to traders at 18,000-20,000 VND/kg. With this price, Ido longan farmers can ensure profits. The price increased due to the increased demand for Ido longan for domestic consumption and export compared to before. Currently, the supply of Ido longan in many localities has decreased compared to last month. At this time, many types of fruit in the Southern region have finished their main harvest season, creating conditions for increased consumption of Ido longan.
