Creative decisions
One of the highlights is that the average GRDP growth rate of the province in the period of 2021 - 2025 reached 6.47%. The scale and quality of the economy has been significantly improved, with the average GRDP per capita reaching 106 million VND/person/year.
The results achieved demonstrate the creative and flexible policies, strategic vision and high determination of the Provincial Party Committee. In particular, the Provincial Party Committee leads and directs the implementation of economic restructuring associated with growth model innovation. The province clearly identifies three economic pillars in this period: agriculture - forestry and fishery; industry - construction and services - tourism.
These three pillars have clearly affirmed their remarkable development in scale and quality over the past period - truly the "pillars" for the province's economy to rise up, overcome challenges and achieve a growth rate of 6.4% in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic causing great disruptions to the economy.
Agriculture, forestry and fishery in the past term have affirmed their role as pillars of the economy. Agricultural production has shifted in depth, towards ecology, circulation, and high technology application. The Provincial Party Committee has made correct decisions and policies, creating favorable conditions to attract investment, apply science and technology in production, and increase the value of agricultural products, making Lam Dong a bright spot in high-tech agricultural development.
Not only is it a land of agriculture and seafood, Lam Dong has also proven to be a locality with great potential for industrial development. Some key industrial products of the province have achieved good growth in the past term. In particular, the energy industry (solar power, wind power, hydropower); bauxite - alumina - aluminum; deep processing of titanium... have gradually affirmed their position, promoted their potential, and made important contributions to growth. Investment attraction in industrial parks and clusters has been strengthened. Up to now, the whole province has 15 industrial parks and 67 industrial clusters that have been approved for investment.
The third pillar - services - tourism is also a bright spot, a breakthrough economic sector, a spearhead of the province. After a difficult period due to the Covid-19 pandemic, tourism has strongly recovered, developing in a high-quality direction. In the period of 2021 - 2025, the whole province is estimated to welcome nearly 78.7 million visitors (including 3.25 million international visitors), with an average growth rate of 24.44%/year.

Breakthrough in digital transformation and administrative reform
Throughout the term, the Provincial Party Committee has paid special attention to leading and directing the promotion of administrative reform, application of information technology and digital transformation in all fields. Many administrative procedures have been simplified, creating favorable conditions for people and businesses.
In particular, Lam Dong province (old), the total number of administrative procedures is 1,865, with the rate of digitized records reaching 80.72% and the rate of electronic results being issued reaching 87.12%. Binh Thuan province (old), the total number of administrative procedures announced is 1,740, with the rate of digitized records reaching 81% and the rate of electronic results being issued reaching 86%. Dak Nong province (old) is implementing 1,710 administrative procedures, of which 804 procedures are carried out online throughout the process.
Immediately after Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation was issued, the Party Committee led the development of an implementation plan, and at the same time, advised the Provincial Party Standing Committee to establish a Steering Committee for science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation and deploy Project 06 in the province.
The Provincial Party Committee has demonstrated its pioneering and innovative role by developing and putting into use the first virtual assistant to support Party building work in Vietnam (Dukai Virtual Assistant). Recently, on August 8, the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee launched a digital ecosystem consisting of 4 platforms: an electronic information page providing fast and accurate information, supporting data retrieval; Zalo Mini App creating a flexible communication channel, accessing information anytime, anywhere; a smart virtual assistant supporting Party building work, optimizing work processing procedures; an artificial intelligence (AI) application portal to solve daily tasks quickly, accurately and objectively.
Dukai Virtual Assistant alone has reached more than 2,000 users with over 20,000 interactions per day, making practical contributions to Party building in the new situation.
With the message "Digital knowledge is the key to the future, the foundation of a developed Lam Dong", on August 14, the province also launched the "Digital Education for All" movement across 124 communes, wards, and special zones.
Right at the first congress of the Provincial Party Committee, the Party Committee pioneered in organizing a model "paperless" congress. Delegates were called by QR code, looked up documents on personal devices and had a digital seating chart, bringing a modern and effective experience.
The achievements that the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee has achieved in the 2020-2025 term are clear evidence of the Party Committee's proactiveness, flexibility and creativity in leadership and direction and the consensus and high determination of the entire Party Committee. This is a solid foundation that opens up new development opportunities for the province in the next period.
By the end of 2025, Lam Dong will have over 106,000 hectares of high-tech agricultural production; over 170,000 hectares of safe production; over 800 OCOP products.
