General Trinh Van Quyet chaired a report on the digital ecosystem of the Party and political work sector.

Attending the conference were Deputy Directors of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army: Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh; Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To; Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung.

Also attending the conference were commanders of a number of agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

At the conference, delegates listened to a summary report on the digital ecosystem project for the ICT sector in the period 2026 - 2030. In particular, representatives of the implementing agencies clarified the contents that have been deployed and updated according to the direction of the head of the General Department of Politics at the previous conference; analyzed in depth and clarified the investment objectives (general objectives, specific objectives); investment scale and content; technology selection; investment efficiency and project implementation roadmap along with recommendations and proposals to accelerate the project implementation progress, ensuring quality and practical efficiency.

Speaking at the conference, Senior General Trinh Van Quyet respectfully thanked the functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense for their close coordination and support with the General Department of Politics in the project implementation process; acknowledged and commended the agencies and units under the General Department of Politics and the project development department for their responsibility, proactiveness, and seriousness in reviewing, supplementing, and perfecting the draft report, basically meeting the requirements, progress, and quality set forth.

Affirming that this is a difficult and complicated task but of utmost importance; when put into implementation and application, it will create a breakthrough in the digital transformation process of the industry, contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of CTĐ and CTCT activities of the entire army, General Trinh Van Quyet requested that the Office of the General Department of Politics continue to coordinate with agencies and functional units to absorb opinions at the conference and complete the project contents.

At the same time, preside over and coordinate with agencies and units to determine the tasks that need to be implemented to ensure good progress, especially the implementation of applications that are benefited and shared in the Ministry of National Defense and applications that are benefited according to previous related projects. Along with that, quickly deploy and complete the procurement of equipment and develop shared software for the remaining sectors according to plan. The implementation process needs to ensure synchronization and consistency among agencies, units, sectors and fields, avoid passivity, ensure tightness and certainty in investment and implementation.

General Trinh Van Quyet requested that agencies and functional units continue to coordinate, ensure good connection infrastructure, locations for installing servers to serve the deployment of digital data warehouse platforms; research and deploy military data transmission networks to units located in remote areas. Continue to coordinate, speed up progress, shorten project implementation time; in the immediate future, focus on prioritizing the digitization of files and documents containing valuable information to meet the professional requirements of the sectors.

General Trinh Van Quyet noted that agencies and units need to increase resources to synchronously deploy the contents; quickly connect the digitized data source to the shared data source of the Central, the Ministry of National Defense, and the General Department of Politics. At the same time, he requested that agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense continue to accompany, coordinate, support, and guide agencies and units of the General Department of Politics to complete investment procedures and organize and implement the project to meet the set progress and requirements, ensuring efficiency, practicality, avoiding overlap and waste.
