Implementing the President's Amnesty Decision in 2024, on the morning of October 1, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the Amnesty Decision for 13 prisoners serving their sentences at the Provincial Police Detention Center and the Police detention centers of districts, towns and cities in the province.

Attending the announcement ceremony at the provincial police detention camp were Colonel Le Nhu Lap, Deputy Director of the provincial police; representatives of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the provincial People's Procuracy, the provincial Women's Union; representatives of the Party Committee and government of An Hung ward, Thanh Hoa city - where the provincial police detention camp is located; representatives of prisoners and pardoned people.
At the ceremony, after announcing the President's amnesty decision, Colonel Le Nhu Lap, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, presented the decision and gifts to 7 prisoners being detained and reformed at the Provincial Police Detention Center who were granted amnesty this time.

For prisoners who are not eligible for amnesty this time, they need to continue to reform well, strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the detention camp, clearly recognize their criminal behavior to cultivate and train themselves, and soon meet all the conditions to be considered for sentence reduction or amnesty next time.
For the prison wardens and correctional officers, it is necessary to do a good job of education, management, and rehabilitation so that prisoners who have not been granted amnesty can continue to reform well and soon return to the community.
In addition to the 7 prisoners serving their sentences at the provincial police detention center who were granted amnesty this time, there are 6 other prisoners serving their sentences at the Sam Son City Police detention center, Nghi Son Town, and Nga Son, Muong Lat, and Ha Trung districts.
