Through night patrols, Hoang Tien Commune Police discovered and arrested many criminal cases.

Hoang Tien Commune was established on the basis of merging the communes of Hoang Yen, Hoang Hai, Hoang Truong and Hoang Tien, with a natural area of ​​23.79 km2 and a population of more than 29,600 people. This is an area with 6.8 km of coastline with the famous Hai Tien marine eco- tourism area, attracting a large number of tourists to visit and swim every year. In the commune, there are 57 tourist accommodation establishments with 4,494 rooms and many other conditional businesses; creating jobs for more than 1,200 workers. These are favorable conditions but also pose many difficulties and challenges in ensuring security and order (ANTT) at the grassroots level.

To ensure security and order to serve socio -economic development and people's lives, immediately after its establishment, Hoang Tien Commune Police quickly stabilized its organization, assigned forces to specialized working groups, proactively and synchronously deployed professional measures, and resolutely launched its missions. As a frontline force in contacting, supporting and resolving administrative procedures to serve the people, the Commune Police actively guided and resolved difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing the two-level local government model, contributing to ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the new apparatus. These efforts not only maintained security and order in the area, but also created a favorable environment for socio-economic development and improving people's lives.

In parallel, from July 15, 2025, implementing Order No. 01 of the Provincial Police Director on general inspection and administrative control at night to prevent and suppress crimes, Hoang Tien Commune Police mobilized forces to divide into 3 patrol teams, each team of 8 comrades including officers and soldiers of the Commune Police, the core of which is the Crime Prevention and Control Team, coordinating with the local security and order protection force to regularly patrol the area from 8:00 p.m. the previous day to 2:00 a.m. the next day.

In addition, the police force also stepped up propaganda work to encourage people to actively participate in the movement of the whole people protecting national security; promptly provide information to report crimes, contributing to maintaining security and order at the grassroots level. At the same time, remind people to always raise their vigilance against the methods and tricks of criminals and social evils, to self-prevent, self-manage, and protect their own property, not allowing criminals to take advantage of their activities, especially during the peak of the beach tourism season.

With the spirit of "Staying awake so that people can sleep well, staying awake so that people can have fun, taking the joy and happiness of the people as the joy and reason for living", from July 15, 2025 to now, Hoang Tien Commune Police have mobilized 168 officers and soldiers and 356 forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, organizing 56 night-time administrative patrols. Through patrol work, the police force directly inspected and reminded over 200 business households to comply with the provisions of the law. Some cases with signs of violations were reminded and required to immediately correct them, contributing to deterrence and raising legal awareness in the community. Many cases and incidents related to security and order were also promptly detected and handled by the police force.

For example: On the night of July 31, 2025, while patrolling to ensure security and order, Hoang Tien Commune Police discovered and caught Le Ba Canh, born in 1995 in Hoang Thanh Commune, illegally storing drugs, and seized 1 package of heroin. Continuing to investigate and expand the case, Hoang Tien Commune Police arrested Le Van Tuan, born in 2003 in Hoang Tien Commune, who sold drugs to Canh, and seized 3 more packages of heroin.

Then, on the night of August 2, during a nighttime administrative patrol, Hoang Tien Commune Police caught Dang Thi Thu, born in 1978, the owner of a motel in the area, red-handed for prostitution, and caught 3 prostitutes selling sex to customers.

Not only does it have the effect of preventing, deterring, detecting and handling crimes, night patrols and administrative controls also create peace of mind and trust among the people. Thanks to that, the security and order situation in the area is basically well controlled, no arising situations or complicated incidents of security and order from the grassroots level occur. In particular, in the initial stage of operating the two-level local government, the deployment of night patrols and administrative controls has demonstrated the determination and high sense of responsibility of the Thanh Hoa Police force in general, and the Hoang Tien Commune Police in particular, in ensuring security and order, keeping peace for the people.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen The Vuong, Head of Hoang Tien Commune Police, said: "Immediately after receiving the new area, the Commune Police focused on directing strict management, organizing regular patrols and controls, especially at night, when crimes are likely to occur. Thereby, many violations were promptly detected and handled, preventing the formation of hot spots, contributing to stabilizing the security and order situation right from the grassroots level."
