Diversifying tourism products towards sustainable development

The leader of Quy Nhon Ward People's Committee said that the Thi Nai lagoon discovery tour is a new tourism product registered by Quy Nhon Ward in 2025. On Thi Nai River, visitors will be able to explore landmarks such as Hai Minh fishing village, Tran Hung Dao monument, Thay Boi tower and Con Chim. These unique cultural and historical community tourism destinations will contribute to diversifying local tourism products.

To exploit the new tourist route, Quy Nhon ward is focusing on investing in tourism infrastructure, mobilizing resources to build a residential embankment to prevent landslides, creating a landscape highlight to serve tourists in Hai Minh fishing village; repairing and renovating the area around the statue of Saint Tran Hung Dao; systematically planning Thay Boi tower, ensuring a clean and beautiful landscape to serve tourists.

The delegation surveyed Thay Boi tower, a spiritual landmark located on a cluster of rocks in the middle of Thi Nai lagoon.

Through the survey, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich highly appreciated the efforts of Quy Nhon ward and travel businesses in implementing new tourism products to attract more and more tourists to Gia Lai .

Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich suggested that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism focus on surveying tourism resources and building a fundamental and methodical tourism development strategy for the province.

To promote the advantages of the place where “The quintessence of the great forest - the blue sea converge”, the province will focus on building tourism products suitable for the natural conditions of Gia Lai Dong and Gia Lai Tay, so that every month of the year is the “tourist season” of the province. At the same time, identify tourist market segments, thereby developing promotional strategies, diversifying products and services suitable for each segment; bringing revenue to the people, to the locality and ensuring the sustainable development of the tourism industry.

As a locality with many scenic spots and a long history and culture, Gia Lai will focus on exploiting the depth of local historical and cultural values, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural beauty of the locality.

Vice President Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich emphasized: To have unique and attractive tourism products, it requires investment, research and methodical operation, with the participation of tourism workers, authorities, destination management units, and local communities, thereby building and developing unique and sustainable tourism products.
