Party - Government Cipher Department receives Third Class Labor Medal

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, comrade Ngo Duc Thang, Director of the Party - Government Cipher Department, said: 30 years ago, on August 10, 1995, the 893 Cipher Department, now the Party - Government Cipher Department, officially came into operation. Over the past three decades, with the function of advising and assisting the Head of the Government Cipher Department in state management of cipher work in the Party - Government organization system, the officers and employees of the Party - Government Cipher Department have constantly strived, united, innovated and devoted themselves to excellently completing all assigned tasks.

The organizational system of the Party - Government Cipher Department is constantly being improved, consolidated and developed. From 274 organizations in 1995, the Department now has 526 cipher organizations, an increase of nearly 50%.

Lieutenant General Vu Ngoc Thiem, Head of the Government Cipher Committee, gave a speech at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Vu Ngoc Thiem, Head of the Government Cipher Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the officers and staff of the Party - Government Cipher Department over the past 30 years.

In the coming time, Lieutenant General Vu Ngoc Thiem requested that the cadres and employees of the Party - Government Cipher Department promote their intelligence, bravery, and lessons learned, continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's viewpoints and guidelines on building and developing cipher work to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country; internally unify and promote collective strength to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

The Department needs to effectively implement Resolution No. 56-NQ/TW dated March 5, 2020 of the Politburo on the Strategy for the Development of Vietnam's Cipher Industry to 2030 and orientation to 2045; successfully complete the task of advising on state management of cipher for the Party - Government Cipher Organizational System; build a team of cipher officers and employees with strong political will, absolute loyalty to the Party and the Fatherland, with good professional qualifications and skills, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The Department continues to advise the Government Cipher Committee, coordinate with ministries, departments, branches and localities to deploy tasks of information security of digital platform systems, digital applications, digital data, and secure data interconnection and synchronization between agencies of the Party, Government and Fatherland Front from the central to local levels to effectively serve the national digital transformation in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

The Party - Government Cipher Department received the Third Class Labor Medal at the ceremony.

On this occasion, the Party - Government Cipher Department was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal (for the second time) for its outstanding achievements in performing the task of ensuring information confidentiality and security in the new situation, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
