The implementation of issuing and exchanging Party Membership Cards on the basis of the National Database on DC is to collect and authenticate the identities of Party members, build a Database of Party organizations and Party members, in order to meet the requirements of Party management work. At the same time, replace paper Party Membership Cards in accordance with the requirements of Party members' purposes in the current situation, avoiding waste for Party agencies in printing and issuing cards.
Thanh Hoa Provincial Police set a goal of completing the issuance and replacement of party membership cards for 100% of official party members in the province by August 15, 2025, with a total of nearly 250,000 cards. |
Identifying this as an important political task, demonstrating the core, exemplary and pioneering role in implementing the goals of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police has provided machinery and equipment systems to 166 commune and ward police stations in the province; arranged human resources to implement the collection of party card issuance and renewal applications.
At the same time, actively advise Party Committees at all levels to quickly implement and complete the goal of issuing Party Membership Cards based on the National Database of Party Members in the province; propagate, disseminate and thoroughly understand, ensuring that 100% of Party members go to the collection points to collect Party member information.
Hac Thanh Ward currently has 15,248 party members living at their residence and nearly 15,000 party members living at agencies and units. By 4:00 p.m. on August 8, with 3 stations, 9 apparatuses and equipment, the Ward Police had carried out the process and procedures for exchanging Party membership cards for more than 1,600 party members in the area. To achieve the above results, along with reviewing and comparing party member data, the Ward Police coordinated with affiliated party cells to proactively arrange forces and equipment to issue party membership cards based on the National Database on Citizenship.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Ba Bo, Deputy Chief of Hac Thanh Ward Police, said: “Determining this as a key political task, the unit has mobilized maximum human resources and proactively coordinated with Party cells to implement it quickly, in accordance with procedures, and ensure data reliability. Issuing and exchanging cards on a digital platform not only authenticates party members’ identities but also modernizes party organization management, increasing transparency and regularity.”
The work of issuing Party membership cards based on the National Database on Party members is being implemented synchronously by Public Security units throughout the province.
In Dong Son Ward, the Ward Police have synchronously deployed steps from consulting, screening to supporting people in completing procedures at the headquarters. On August 8 alone, the Ward Police completed procedures for 686 party members. The Ward aims to complete the issuance and replacement of Party cards for more than 3,200 party members before August 12.
It is known that the police of communes and wards in the whole province are stepping up the collection of party member data; focusing on areas with many elderly party members and disadvantaged areas. The application of technology helps reduce the pressure of paper records, shorten processing time and improve management efficiency. Thereby contributing to building an accurate database of party work, serving the leadership and management of the Party in the digital transformation period.
