Major Pham Thi Diem, the officer in charge of receiving applications for citizen identification cards, said: Every day, the ward police receive and handle about 300 people coming to carry out administrative procedures, such as issuing citizen identification cards, registering permanent residence, temporary residence, temporary absence, confirming criminal records, handling administrative violations and many other procedures under their authority. In many cases, people are elderly, unfamiliar with online declaration procedures or illiterate, we are ready to support and explain each step in detail.
