Gia Lai police launch a high-profile campaign to crack down on crime

The launching ceremony aims to ensure absolute safety for activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day, the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, and Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

This peak campaign will be carried out over a period of 2 months (from July 18 to September 18) with the implementation of plans and working measures, mobilizing all forces and means to resolutely fight, strongly suppress and punish all types of crimes. Resolutely not allowing the formation and emergence of complicated areas and gathering places for crimes, drugs, social evils..., contributing to curbing and reducing crimes, maintaining security and order in the area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that 2025 is a year of special significance, marking many important political events of the Party, the country and Gia Lai province. In particular, after merging with Binh Dinh province, Gia Lai province has a large area, ranking second in the country with land borders and sea areas. The political security situation and social order and safety will have many potential complications, especially border security, drug crimes, smuggling, illegal migration, disputes, complaints, and social issues arising from the process of urbanization and rapid economic development.

Establish a combined armed patrol force (Force 151) consisting of 2 provincial-level teams and 135 commune-level teams to prevent and promptly detect "street crimes" and violations of public order; focus on building a clean and strong force and promoting administrative reform, improving the quality of service to the people.
