As of the morning of August 18, more than 100 universities nationwide have announced admission scores for 2024. General records from schools show that this year's admission scores have increased compared to last year in all majors.

In the top schools and industries, which have had high admission scores in recent years, the increase is slight, averaging 0.25-0.5 points.

However, in mid-level schools and industries, the benchmark score increased sharply, with an increase of 3-7 points.

With 29.3 points for the majors of Literature Pedagogy and History Pedagogy, Hanoi National University of Education is the school with the highest admission score in 2024 up to this point, on a 30-point scale, according to the admission method based on the High School Graduation Exam scores.

After universities announce their admission scores, candidates need to check whether their names are on the school's admission list or not. For those whose names are on the admission list, candidates should continue to follow the school's announcement to prepare their documents and complete the admission confirmation process.

Candidates who do not confirm their admission within the prescribed time, without a valid reason, will be considered as refusing admission and the training institution has the right to not accept them. Candidates who have confirmed their admission at a training institution are not allowed to participate in the admission process elsewhere or in additional admission rounds, unless permitted by the training institution.

After confirming admission, candidates will receive an admission notice from the university to where they submitted their application or an online admission notice.

Universities with their own admission plans will post information on their official websites or fanpages, and send it to candidates via email, phone number or admission notice. Candidates need to follow the admission procedures according to these instructions from the admitted school.

Candidates should note that some schools will have their own admission confirmation requirements according to the school's regulations. This confirmation is different from the confirmation on the Ministry's general system. Candidates need to complete the application and documents as required by the school and check the exact time and location to come to school according to regulations.

Specific admission documents will be announced by universities in the admission notice. However, most of the time, when preparing admission documents, the following documents are required: Admission notice, High school transcript (notarized copy and original for comparison); ID card (notarized copy); Notarized copy of birth certificate; Temporary graduation certificate or high school diploma; Health examination form issued by district or county clinic; Youth Union book (if any)...

In the admission notice, in addition to the required documents, the school will notify the fees that need to be paid upon admission. Candidates need to prepare enough money to pay upon admission.
