After the success of the first organization, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province will continue to organize the program "Branded Goods Promotion" for the second time with many new features. In 2024, the program "Flash Sale Holiday" was held for 3 days, from December 13 to 15, 2024, and created a big buzz. With a scale of 120 booths, gathering more than 300 famous brands such as Gucci, Versace, Calvin Klein, Narciso Rodriguez, Chloe... and many other prestigious brands, the program attracted 40,000 visitors and shoppers, with total sales of more than 8 billion VND. This is a very impressive number, exceeding expectations. It can be said that the event brought a positive shopping experience, leaving a beautiful impression on people and tourists, while contributing to promoting sustainable trade development in the province.

*With that success, what are the new features of the second "Branded Goods Promotion" program, sir?
- Following the success of the first time, with the approval of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Industry and Trade continues to organize the program for the second time in Vung Tau City, lasting 5 days, from April 30 to May 4, 2025.
This program is organized on a larger scale, with 150 booths gathering international and domestic high-end brands. In particular, there will be 8 booths displaying 3-4 star OCOP products typical of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, introducing high-quality products to visitors.
Our goal is to attract over 60,000 visitors and shoppers, with total revenue of about 12 billion VND.
Currently, the organization work is being urgently deployed, focusing on ensuring the quality of goods, security and order, traffic safety, information, communication and event promotion.
* So what will be the long-term orientation for the "Brand Promotion" program, sir?
- Ba Ria-Vung Tau is one of the pioneering localities in the region to organize large-scale, professional brand promotion events. The program not only promotes consumption, supports businesses in promoting their brands, but also creates opportunities for people to access high-quality products at preferential prices.
With that in mind, we are aiming to organize this program 1-2 times per year, with an increasingly larger scale and increasingly improved quality. The further goal is to turn “Brand Promotion” into a commercial and tourism event, contributing to promoting local economic growth and affirming the position of Ba Ria-Vung Tau as a high-quality economic and tourism center of the region.
