Informing the leaders of the Ministry of Information and Communications about some results of implementing key tasks of Hanoi City, the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee said that despite many difficulties and challenges, Hanoi also achieved positive and comprehensive results in the socio-economic development task in the first 6 months of 2024.

In particular, Hanoi has been very meticulous in preparing steps so that on this occasion, the National Assembly will pass the amended Law on the Capital; the Hanoi Capital Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 and the Project to adjust the Hanoi Capital Master Plan to 2045, with a vision to 2065.

"After approval, Hanoi will carry out many major tasks, so in the coming time, Hanoi hopes to continue receiving the attention and support of the Ministry of Information and Communications in propaganda work, press orientation and promoting information technology and digital transformation" - Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan emphasized.

Expressing his gratitude to the leaders of Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Bui Hoang Phuong affirmed that the Ministry will work with Hanoi to develop a communication plan on the new laws and policies passed by the National Assembly. In particular, it will orient information appropriately so that people can grasp and benefit from the policies and bring the resolution into life; at the same time, it is committed to strongly supporting Hanoi in digital transformation.

Bringing the voice and image of the Capital far and wide

At Hanoi Radio and Television Station, reporting to the Hanoi City delegation, General Director of Hanoi Radio and Television Station Nguyen Kim Khiem said that in the context of general difficulties, the Station has made efforts to implement comprehensive innovation, build a media complex with means according to the City's orientation with two key tasks: reorganizing the apparatus, improving the quality of operations, implementing press economy, digital transformation; doing a good job of propagating the City's political tasks.

Accordingly, the station has reduced from 26 to 22 focal points, changed the income mechanism according to job position, and evaluated income according to labor performance. Thereby, the spirit and work mindset of workers have changed significantly, and income has gradually improved. The Chairman of the City People's Council directed the City People's Council Committees, the Department of Information and Communications to coordinate with the Hanoi Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board to pay attention to removing obstacles, speeding up the progress of the project to build the Capital Multimedia Communication Complex; the project to supplement, upgrade and replace the station's equipment lines... with the view of supporting all the best conditions for Hanoi Radio and Television Station to develop commensurate with its role and position.
