The company regularly coordinates with departments, branches and sectors to organize training, coaching, and equip workers with knowledge of occupational safety and health; fully equip workers with protective equipment and clothing such as uniforms, hats, shoes, etc. For workers working in special positions, they will be provided with additional clothing that is suitable for the nature and requirements of the job such as hard hats, masks, noise-canceling earplugs, glasses, etc.
Along with that, the company always focuses on investing in modern machinery and equipment systems, production lines such as large capacity stamping machines with ultrasonic technology, low noise; lockin, lockout systems contribute to reducing occupational accidents, protecting the safety of workers when the equipment is operating; sensor systems help stop the operation of equipment and machinery when there is a risk of losing occupational safety and health...
To create a safe working environment for employees, the Department of Home Affairs coordinates with departments, branches, sectors and enterprises to innovate content and diversify forms of propaganda, dissemination and education on occupational safety and health laws.
In 2024, the Department of Home Affairs organized 58 classes to disseminate labor laws and occupational safety and health for nearly 6,000 workers; organized mobile propaganda campaigns on labor laws and occupational safety and health; hung banners and slogans on occupational safety and health in industrial parks, industrial clusters, areas with high concentrations of workers and laborers... The Industrial Park Management Board organized 8 conferences to disseminate occupational safety and health, prevention of occupational accidents and diseases for more than 3,000 workers and laborers working in industrial parks...
Inspection and examination of the implementation of labor safety and hygiene regulations at enterprises are carried out regularly. In 2024, the Department of Home Affairs organized 6 inspections of the implementation of labor law and labor safety and hygiene regulations at 6 enterprises, thereby issuing 6 conclusions and making 27 recommendations requiring employers to implement; The Provincial Industrial Park Management Board inspected 10 enterprises in the industrial park on the implementation of labor law regulations; Lap Thach District People's Committee inspected labor safety and hygiene at Hong Quang Trading and Production Company Limited, A My Industrial Joint Stock Company, etc.
Currently, enterprises in the province coordinate with the Trade Union to develop plans to ensure occupational safety and health, fire prevention and fighting in conjunction with production and business plans. At the same time, relatively fully implement the regimes and policies for employees on occupational safety and health such as training and education on occupational safety and health; examination, management, and health care of employees (health examinations for recruitment, periodic examinations, examinations to detect and treat occupational diseases, nursing regimes, occupational rehabilitation, etc.); provide personal protective equipment; pay compensation and allowances for occupational accidents and diseases, etc.
Workers are increasingly aware of their rights and responsibilities for occupational safety and health, proactively preventing occupational accidents as well as complying with the use of labor protection measures. As a result, the number of occupational accidents in recent years has decreased significantly, most of which are minor accidents. In 2024, the province had 34 occupational accidents, a decrease of 26 cases compared to 2023.
To further improve occupational safety and health work, in response to the 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Action Month with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying hazards and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace", from May 1 to May 30, all levels, sectors and enterprises actively carried out peak communication campaigns, raising awareness and compliance with occupational safety and health laws.
Enterprises synchronously deploy specific solutions and action programs to prevent occupational accidents and diseases, promote the development and implementation of a culture of occupational safety; proactively and vigorously review, self-check, identify, and evaluate occupational safety and health risks and take measures to prevent occupational accidents and diseases; strengthen measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace, especially in the use of machinery, equipment, and substances with strict requirements on occupational safety and health; focus on improving working conditions for employees, investing in improving production lines, technology, modern machinery and equipment, and applying technology in controlling and preventing occupational accidents and diseases, etc.
