On April 10, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu signed a decision to sanction administrative violations in the field of land against Dong Giang Agricultural Company Limited (headquarter address: Thon Lo, Tu commune, Dong Giang district), the legal representative is Mr. Nguyen Truong Dong - Director.

According to the penalty decision, Dong Giang Agricultural Company Limited has occupied agricultural land which is production forest land in rural areas. Specifically, this enterprise used an area of ​​6,119.1 m2 of land in the field without completing the procedures for land allocation and land lease according to the provisions of law to build and put into use environmental works, including: Biogas tank, regulating lake, biological lake, centralized wastewater treatment system, level 4 house to store chemicals.

For the above violation, Dong Giang Agricultural Company Limited was administratively fined 80 million VND.

In addition, this enterprise is forced to continue carrying out land allocation and land lease procedures according to regulations; forced to return illegal profits gained from committing violations of more than 1.2 million VND.

The People's Committee of Quang Nam province requests Dong Giang Agricultural Company Limited to strictly comply with this penalty decision within 10 days from the date of receipt of the penalty decision. After the above deadline, if Dong Giang Agricultural Company Limited fails to comply with the penalty decision, it will be forced to comply according to the provisions of law.
