The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province announced that from tomorrow, August 10, the railway industry will officially put into operation a high-quality tourist train on the Hanoi - Dong Hoi route, consisting of 13 carriages manufactured and built entirely in Vietnam using advanced technology. This is an important step in the process of localizing train building technology, helping to reduce costs, optimize investment capital and still ensure international quality.

The Hanoi - Dong Hoi route is one of the 6 most beautiful railway routes and also has a high number of passengers. The new train operates every 2 days, in both directions. The Hanoi - Dong Hoi route departs at 20:05 at Hanoi station and arrives at Dong Hoi station at 6:10 the next morning; the return route departs at 15:20 at Dong Hoi station and arrives at Hanoi station at 4:15 the next morning.

The train is equipped with many modern amenities, enhancing the passenger experience. Wifi system covers the entire carriage, air conditioning can be adjusted individually according to needs, each bed has a personal TV, the vacuum cleaning system is clean and odorless like on an airplane.

The soft seat can rotate 360 degrees, convenient for chatting and sightseeing. The ABS braking system and axle temperature gauge help ensure maximum safety during operation.

The train is configured with 6 soft sleeper cars (28 beds each) and 5 soft seat cars, meeting the diverse needs of passengers. The average ticket price is 620,000 VND/seat ticket and 1,135 million VND/bed ticket. In particular, in the first 10 days of opening, passengers will receive a 10% discount on ticket prices.
