The large hill in Pang Tieng village has collapsed nearly 1/3, the remaining part is about to fall onto Provincial Road 721 and threaten the safety of the residential area right next to the hill.

The landslide on the hill is about 100m long and 50m high. At night, vehicles passing by this place are very scared because landslides can happen at any time.
This hill is near the water inlet. hydroelectric Da Dang - Da Chomo. After many days of heavy rain, nearly 1/3 of the hill was gouged, hundreds of cubic meters of rock and soil slid down, and pine trees were uprooted.
This is the route connecting Lang Biang ward - Da Lat with Dinh Van commune with large traffic volume and close to residential areas.
According to observations, the remaining volume of rock and soil on the hillside is estimated to be up to hundreds of thousands of cubic meters. If the entire area slides down, the consequences will be very serious for Provincial Road 721 and the Pang Tieng residential area with hundreds of households living there.
Children playing carefree right at the foot of a hill that could collapse at any time makes many people worried.
