Recently, the Hanoi Department of Transport reported to the Hanoi People's Committee in May. Accordingly, the Department of Transport was assigned to research and prepare a report proposing investment policies for 10 public investment projects and 1 private project in the form of PPP.

Notable among these is the project to build an underpass at the intersection of Tay Thang Long - Ring Road 3 (Pham Van Dong section).

The project to build an underpass at the intersection of Tay Thang Long - Ring Road 3 has its starting point connecting to the already built Hoang Minh Thao Street (about 150m from the intersection).

The end point connects to Tay Thang Long axis road in the direction of Pham Van Dong to Van Tien Dung (about 850m from the intersection).

The total investment of the project (expected) is up to 1,156 billion VND. The underpass is located right next to Hoa Binh Park. Currently, the residential area in Co Nhue ward is urgently being compensated and cleared to serve the project.

With the above length, the underpass on Hoang Minh Thao Street is expected to start from the section between the two branches connecting to Ring Road 3.

Then, the end point ends at the section near the People's Committee of Co Nhue 2 Ward.

Tay Thang Long Road consists of 5 sections. Section 1 is 2.1 km long from Vo Chi Cong Street to Pham Van Dong Street through Tay Ho Tay Urban Area. Section 2 is 3.2 km long from Pham Van Dong Street to Van Tien Dung Street.

Section 3 is about 3 km long from Van Tien Dung Street to Tay Tuu, Thuong Cat. Section 4 is 4.9 km long from Tay Tuu to Ring Road 4. Section 5 is 20 km long from Ring Road 4 to Son Tay town.
