A generation of digital citizens is gradually forming to suit the development of the digital age.

According to the "Digital Transformation" handbook of the Ministry of Information and Communications, digital citizens are people equipped with digital capacity to live in a fully digitalized environment.

The nine elements that make up digital citizenship are: the ability to access digital information sources; the ability to communicate in the digital environment; basic digital skills; buying and selling goods online; ethical standards in the digital environment; physical and psychological protection from the effects of the digital environment; rights and responsibilities in the digital environment; identification, authentication, personal data; privacy in the digital environment.

Ca Mau province is focusing resources and efforts on digital transformation on three pillars: digital society, digital government and digital economy. And digital transformation cannot be successful without forming digital citizens.
