According to the report at the meeting, during the week, based on the work plan and program, the leaders of the Committee focused on directing departments and units to focus on implementing the assigned tasks in 2024 and chaired and attended many important conferences and meetings. Specifically, the Minister and Chairman was the Head of the inspection team implementing 3 National Target Programs in Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces; attended the conference summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 40-CT/TW dated November 22, 2014 of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over social policy credit; attended the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Soc Trang province in 2024.

Deputy Ministers and Vice Chairmen also join the Prime Minister's working delegation in localities; attend meetings and conferences of the Government; and chair important meetings of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities.

Along with that, in week 33, the departments and units proactively coordinated to advise on implementation, basically completing the tasks assigned by the Committee's leaders, such as: Advising and preparing well the contents and conditions to serve the Working Group of the Minister and Chairman to inspect the implementation of 03 National Target Programs in the provinces: Lao Cai, Yen Bai; attending the Conference summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 40-CT/TW dated November 22, 2014 of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over social policy credit; attending the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Soc Trang province in 2024; preparing contents to serve the Committee's leaders to participate in the Working Group of the Prime Minister working in Dak Lak province; attending conferences of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Government, central ministries and branches; Advise on the issuance of the Report on the settlement of the use of state budget investment capital according to the 2023 budget year...

At the same time, departments and units have basically strictly implemented the Working Regulations of the Ethnic Minority Committee. During the week, departments and units complied with the regime of submitting weekly reports in accordance with regulations. However, there are still cases where departments and units have not fulfilled their responsibilities in implementing the Working Regulations of the Ethnic Minority Committee; have not seriously implemented the instructions of the Committee's leaders (in the Assignment Documents and Notices of Concluding Opinions), especially tasks assigned with a deadline, tasks related to many departments and units.

Regarding the key tasks of week 34, the Committee's leaders continue to focus on directing departments and units to focus on implementing assigned tasks and tasks according to the plan, especially projects and policies submitted to the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Government, the Prime Minister, tasks that are behind schedule and tasks with deadlines to be completed in week 34, focusing on a number of tasks: Completing the management system of the National Target Program for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas according to the provisions of Decree No. 38/2023/ND-CP dated June 24, 2023 of the Government and guiding localities in implementation; establishing data connectivity with the system according to the instructions of the Ministry of Planning and Investment; continuing to review, synthesize, and advise on handling and removing difficulties and obstacles in implementing the National Target Program for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas; Urgently advise on the implementation of Resolution 142/2024/QH15, Resolution of the 7th session, 15th National Assembly; complete the dossier of the state budget plan and estimate for 2025 and the 3-year state budget plan for 2025 - 2027 of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities...

At the meeting, delegates expressed their agreement with the report on the direction and management of the Committee's leaders in week 33 and the key tasks in week 34. A number of departments and units spoke and supplemented to clarify the contents related to the assigned tasks.

Concluding the meeting, Minister and Head Hau A Lenh highly appreciated the implementation of tasks of departments and units during the week. To effectively carry out tasks in the coming time, Minister and Head Hau A Lenh requested departments and units to review assigned tasks related to projects submitted to the National Assembly, the Government and the Prime Minister to speed up progress and fully implement procedures and processes. For tasks submitted to competent authorities, the Minister and Head requested departments and units to strengthen coordination to receive, explain and complete documents as required.

Along with that, Minister and Chairman Hau A Lenh also requested departments and units to seriously carry out assigned tasks, the conclusions of the Committee's leaders in terms of procedures, time...; strictly comply with discipline, order, and working regulations; strengthen coordination; develop plans to attend the Provincial Congress of Ethnic Minorities; strengthen the work of grasping the local situation, especially the situation of storms and floods in localities to promptly advise the Government, relevant ministries and branches to have timely support solutions...
