In the atmosphere of celebrating the traditional Bupimay New Year, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4, congratulated Senior Lieutenant General Khamliang Outhakaysone on his appointment as Minister of National Defense of Laos.

The Command of Military Region 4 sincerely thanks the Lao Ministry of Defense for always paying attention and helping the Military Region successfully complete its foreign defense tasks. In particular, it regularly directs Lao units and localities to coordinate with provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue City and Division 324, Division 968 (Military Region 4) to effectively implement the annual military and defense coordination program. It creates conditions for Military Region 4 to effectively implement projects and models of livestock and crop farming; build factories processing agricultural products and medicinal herbs, organize the purchase of products from people, and help Lao people in difficult areas and border areas develop their economy.

The Lao Ministry of Defense also directed and assisted units of Military Region 4 in carrying out the task of searching for and collecting the remains of martyrs in Laos and repatriating them to Vietnam for burial, achieving good results.

The Command of Military Region 4 hopes that Senior Lieutenant General Khamliang Outhakaysone will continue to pay attention to helping the forces of the Military Region coordinate to effectively carry out economic tasks combined with national defense and security, especially to carry out well the survey and construction of new projects and models to help people develop the economy in difficult areas. At the same time, continue to direct the forces to coordinate and help the Military Region's Collection Teams effectively carry out the task of surveying, searching, and collecting martyrs' remains in the dry season of 2024 - 2025 and the following years.

Senior Lieutenant General Khamliang Outhakaysone, Minister of National Defense of Laos, sincerely thanked the attention of the Military Region 4 Command. At the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated the role and results of the Military Region 4 in Laos. The Minister of National Defense of Laos hopes that the Military Region 4 Command will continue to strengthen coordination to better perform economic tasks associated with national defense and security.

On this occasion, the Command of Military Region 4 visited and congratulated Lieutenant General Saichay Kommasith, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Chief of the General Staff of the Lao People's Army; Lieutenant General Vongsone Inpanphim, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Director of the General Political Department of the Lao People's Army, who had just been appointed to new positions.
