Ministry of Education and Training holds press conference on High School Graduation Exam 2025

The press conference was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong, Mr. Huynh Van Chuong - Director of the Department of Quality Management and Mr. Tran Dinh Chung - Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Political Security (Ministry of Public Security).

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong emphasized that the Ministry of Education and Training held a press conference to quickly inform about the exam results and answer questions of public concern.

According to the Deputy Minister, this year's exam is organized for both students studying under the 2018 General Education Program and students studying under the 2006 General Education Program.

With more than 1.1 million candidates registered for the exam, an increase of nearly 100 candidates compared to last year, the exam took place in the context that the whole country is implementing the arrangement and organization of the two-level local government apparatus and changes in the arrangement of the inspection agency system.

The number of candidates is large, organized nationwide, but with the participation of relevant ministries, departments, and localities, the exam supervision is safe, objective, transparent, and in accordance with regulations.

However, due to the nature and scale of the exam, it is inevitable that there will be mistakes; therefore, the Deputy Minister wishes to listen to comments from the press in particular and public opinion in general so that the Steering Committee can learn from experience and continue to improve and perform better in the next stages of the exam.
