Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard arrested 2 cases of illegal possession of drugs

Previously, at around 20:05 on August 12, in the area of Dang Van Ngu Street, Phan Thiet Ward, Lam Dong Province, the Special Task Force of the Professional Department, Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with Thanh Hai Border Guard Station on patrol and control duty and discovered suspect Tran Van Thanh, born in 2001, residing in Quarter 8, Phan Thiet Ward, Lam Dong Province, showing suspicious signs.

During the on-site inspection, the task force seized 1 plastic bag containing white crystalline substance and 1 plastic bag containing 20 blue tablets. Thanh confessed that they were ketamine and ecstasy. The unit drew up a record of the crime, sealed the evidence, took the subject's statement, and completed the procedures according to regulations.

Then, at around 10:10 p.m. on August 12, in the area of Lam Dinh Truc Street, Phu Thuy Ward, Lam Dong Province, the Special Task Force of the Professional Department, Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with Thanh Hai Border Guard Station to arrest Han Thi To Quyen, born in 1999, residing in Phu Thuy Ward, Lam Dong Province, for illegally storing drugs. The seized evidence included 2 plastic bags containing white crystals, solid (about 5 grams). The subject confessed that it was methamphetamine. The unit made a record of the arrest of the offender red-handed and continued to investigate and handle the case according to the provisions of law.
