(QBĐT) - On the afternoon of April 4, the Provincial Military Command (CHQS) held a conference to summarize the emulation movement "Quang Binh Provincial Armed Forces join hands to build new rural areas" and the emulation movement "Quang Binh Provincial Armed Forces join hands for the poor, leaving no one behind" in the period of 2021-2025. Attending were representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Over the past 5 years, the Provincial Military Command has effectively led and directed the emulation movements "Quang Binh Provincial Armed Forces join hands to build new rural areas" and the emulation movements "Quang Binh Provincial Armed Forces join hands for the poor, leaving no one behind". Many agencies and units have promoted dynamism and creativity, implementing 35 effective operating models, making an important contribution to helping grassroots Party committees and authorities build new rural areas.

The Provincial Military Command has coordinated with departments, organizations, and accompanying units to invest over 10 billion VND and tens of thousands of working days to build infrastructure projects such as rural roads, schools, clinics, community centers, social welfare projects; support single-parent households, poor households, and organize "Tet for the poor" activities on the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday of the nation... Collectives: Political Department, Infantry Regiment 996 and Military Commands of Le Thuy, Bo Trach, and Minh Hoa districts are typical units in implementing the above emulation movements.

To continue to effectively implement emulation movements in the coming time, the conference agreed to deploy 7 policies and measures. The focus is on continuing to propagate and educate to raise awareness for officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces about the goals and significance of the emulation movement; coordinating with departments and organizations to determine each part of the work in each stage that is both strict and suitable to the characteristics of each agency and unit, contributing to building a strong local political base, consolidating a solid people's position, building and protecting the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command considered the proposal of the Ministry of National Defense, the Provincial People's Committee and the Military Region 4 Command to commend 4 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements; at the same time, awarded certificates of merit to 10 outstanding collectives and individuals.
