From early morning on April 30, along the main roads of Tuy Hoa City, a series of cars with Central Highlands license plates lined up to head towards the sea. At the parking lots of coastal resorts or tourist attractions such as Nhan Tower, Bai Xep, Ganh Da Dia, etc., it was not difficult to see groups of families and young people from the Central Highlands excitedly enjoying the golden sunshine and salty taste of the sea.

Not only coming for tourism, many tourists from Dak Lak also bring special feelings for Phu Yen in the context that the two localities are on the path to merger. Tourist Ngo Bao Ngoc, a student at Tay Nguyen University, shared: "When Dak Lak and Phu Yen become one province, I hope that the roads connecting the Central Highlands with the sea will be invested in and upgraded to make travel easier."

Mr. Le Van Tien Dung, Director of Tuy An District Relic Management Board, on April 30 and May 1, a large number of tourists visited the special national relic Ganh Da Dia. On April 30, there were 4,500 visitors, and on May 1, there were over 7,000 visitors.

Transform yourself to welcome new opportunities

Mr. Nguyen Le Vu, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen, said that the locality is ready to "welcome the wave" of tourists during the holidays and further into the peak summer season of 2025. In addition to existing products such as Bai Mon - Mui Dien (where the first sunrise on the Vietnamese mainland is welcomed), Ganh Da Dia, Xuan Dai Bay, etc., Phu Yen is focusing on developing tours connecting the Central Highlands - Coast. This is a great opportunity for two diverse lands - one side is the great forest, the other side is the blue sea - to complement and support each other in the journey to attract tourists.

With 189km of coastline, many beautiful pristine beaches, and typical cuisine such as tuna eyes, O Loan blood cockles, rice vermicelli with pork offal, rice noodle soup with chives, etc., Phu Yen is increasingly gaining points in the hearts of tourists from all over the world. In particular, in the trend of discovery and resort tourism associated with nature, this land of "yellow flowers on green grass" is becoming an attractive destination not only for domestic but also international tourists.
