Specifically, in recent days, a series of fake fanpages of the "Rang Ham Mat Run" race of the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology in Ho Chi Minh City have appeared and been massively advertised to scam people.
Among them, there is a fanpage named "2025 Dental Race - Run for children's smiles" attracting 1,500 likes and 1,500 followers.

This fanpage blatantly advertises that the race has officially opened for registration, and each bib (registration number) sold will contribute 50,000 VND to the smile surgery fund for patients at the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology in Ho Chi Minh City.
Besides, there is also a fanpage named "2025 Dental Marathon - Love Run", which affirms to have the function of providing information for the main race of the Dental industry.
Ho Chi Minh City Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology confirmed that the unit is currently not organizing any online or offline races.
The next "Rang Ham Mat Run" race is scheduled for May 16-17, 2026, but ticket sales have not officially opened.
At the same time, the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology in Ho Chi Minh City has not officially called for sponsors.
The hospital also publicly announced two official communication channels of the tournament, including the website with the link https://www.rhm.run and the fanpage https://www.facebook.com/rhm.run.
"We respectfully request that our colleagues, partners and relatives take note to avoid being scammed by bad guys and suffering unfortunate losses," the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology in Ho Chi Minh City warned.
In addition to the above incident, recently, many hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City, even management agencies, have continuously reported on fraudulent tricks to take advantage of gullible people.
In early August, Cho Ray Hospital said it had received a number of complaints from organ donors about fraudulent impersonation for the purpose of profiteering.
Specifically, some subjects claimed to be hospital staff, called and asked registrants to pay a fee to receive an organ donation registration card delivered by the post office .
Dr. Du Thi Ngoc Thu, Head of the Human Organ Transplant Coordination Unit at Cho Ray Hospital, confirmed that all procedures related to organ and tissue donation registration here, including submitting an application, issuing and sending a card to the registrant's address... are completely free.
After receiving the above feedback, the Human Organ Transplant Coordination Unit reported to the post office (where Cho Ray Hospital's mail is sent to other places) to verify and thoroughly handle the incident, in order to prevent similar profiteering behaviors from occurring.

Previously, on July 29, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health also warned that in recent days, there has been a trick of impersonating medical staff to scam blood donors in Ho Chi Minh City. The subjects asked for personal information with the reason of "abnormal blood donation results".
The Department of Health confirmed that this agency and the blood donation receiving unit will only contact people through official methods. Messages sent to blood donors will display the brand name “BVTMHH” or “TTHIENMAUTP”.
The hospital absolutely does not ask people to provide personal information via applications, zalo or any links. If in doubt, people should immediately call the hotline of the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion - Hematology Hospital (at 028.3955.7858) for verification.
