Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard launched an emulation campaign to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

On the morning of August 5, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command held a ceremony to launch a high-level emulation campaign to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024); launching the emulation movement to ensure traffic order and safety in 2024.

With the theme "Proud of tradition - Continuing the feat - Worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers", the emulation period starts from August 1 to December 31, 2024. The main content of the emulation period is to do a good job of political and ideological education, building determination for officers and soldiers; compete to excellently complete assigned tasks; well organize commemorative activities associated with summarizing the year 2024, deploying tasks for 2025.

Also at the ceremony, the Provincial Border Guard launched the emulation movement to ensure traffic order and safety in 2024 with the theme "Respecting the law to build a culture of safe traffic". The emulation campaign aims to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement directives, resolutions, instructions and directions of all levels on ensuring traffic order and safety; promote the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels, the sense of responsibility of leaders and commanders at all levels, the vanguard and exemplary nature of cadres and Party members in ensuring traffic order and safety; regularly innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda, dissemination and education of traffic safety laws.

After the launching ceremony, representatives of departments and offices of the Provincial Border Guard Command signed a peak emulation agreement to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day and the emulation movement to ensure traffic order and safety in 2024.
