Mr. Nguyen Duc Loc, Director of Hue City History Museum (right) received artifacts from the leaders of Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center.

The handover and reception ceremony took place on the afternoon of August 19 with the participation of representatives of departments and researchers.

The artifacts handed over this time are divided into many different groups of materials such as paper, wood, stone, plastic, textile, leather, metal, porcelain, etc. All are vivid historical evidence, valuable cultural heritage of the land and people of Hue, cherished, preserved, and passed down through many generations.

These artifacts were once owned by the Hue Museum of Culture. Later, after many stages of consolidation and merger, they were managed by the Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center before being officially handed over to the Hue City Museum of History.

Once brought to the Hue City Museum of History, these documents and artifacts will contribute to enriching the museum's existing documents and artifacts to serve future research and display purposes. Thereby, demonstrating the true function and mission of a local research museum in collecting, preserving, researching and promoting the value of cultural heritage.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City and Thuan Hoa Ward highly appreciated the coordination in handing over the artifacts, as well as the work of reviewing and updating the historical records of documents and artifacts that had been carried out previously.

A representative of the Hue City Museum of History said that after receiving the documents, the unit will continue to preserve and complete the documents and artifacts in accordance with the Law on Cultural Heritage and the policies of the Party and State to ensure good preservation, conservation and promotion of the values of documents and artifacts in the current period.
