The new construction project includes: A 5-storey building, 1 attic, with synchronous equipment and technical infrastructure on a land area of ​​563.5m2; construction area of ​​237m2, floor area of ​​1,124.4m2.

The construction and operation of the People's Army Newspaper's permanent office in the Northwest is an important milestone, marking the development in scale, organization, and propaganda capacity of the soldier newspaper in the strategic area of ​​the Northwest with a rich revolutionary tradition. During the historic Dien Bien Phu Campaign, the Frontline Editorial Office of the People's Army Newspaper was born right at the front.

In difficult working conditions, with 5 cadres and reporters, they overcame difficulties and hardships, promptly published and distributed 33 special issues right at the front, promptly propagated the resistance line and combat motto in the Dien Bien Phu campaign; encouraged and motivated the fighting spirit of the army and people of Dien Bien Phu and the whole country, contributing to the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory "famous in five continents, shaking the world".
