Reporting to the working delegation, EVNHANOI General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan said that the Corporation has issued a power supply plan with the goal of ensuring absolute safety, continuity, stability and quality of power throughout the capital during the days of the celebration, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Key locations such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi People's Committee, cultural, sports and mass media agencies are provided with power from two grid sources or backup generators. Particularly important locations are also equipped with UPS systems to ensure absolute safety. On-call teams to operate and handle incidents are deployed 24/7.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of EVN said: EVN requires units not to perform work that requires stopping or reducing power supply during the National Day holiday.

Flexible solutions to ensure electricity in all situations

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of EVN, said that the Group has issued a document directing all its affiliated corporations to focus on implementing the work of ensuring electricity supply to serve political, social and cultural activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.

In particular, units are required to closely coordinate with NSMO to establish and implement plans to ensure absolutely safe and stable power supply during the grand festival, including activities serving training, joint practice, preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal and the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march; have flexible plans to ensure power in all situations; prioritize ensuring power at key locations and other activities.

EVN requires units not to perform work that requires stopping or reducing power supply during the National Day holiday. Particularly for Hanoi, it is necessary to ensure absolutely safe and stable power supply for training areas, joint training, preliminary rehearsals, general rehearsals, and National Day celebrations, parades, and marches.

Re-establish on-duty shifts at all 110kV and 220kV transformer stations; arrange on-duty forces, spare equipment and supplies, communication systems and means of transport to ensure timely handling of incidents; coordinate with local authorities, police and military to review, develop and deploy security, safety and fire prevention plans for power projects and grid operation locations.

Mr. Vu Xuan Khu, Deputy General Director of NSMO, said that the Company has issued a document directing electricity units to strengthen the assurance of power sources and power grids in all situations. At the same time, it will supplement backup generators and power storage systems; assign and arrange personnel to be on duty 24/7 during the holiday.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long requested that the units continue to carefully review the plans, including backup plans. It is necessary to establish a coordination and information mechanism between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and electricity units and related units from central to local levels.

Regarding the difficulties in the movement of the operational team, the Deputy Minister requested NSMO and units to make a list and send it to the competent authorities for approval; at the same time, requested the Ministry of Public Security to pay attention and consider supporting the professional force to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
