Bamboo Airways approaches break-even point, perfecting management apparatus

At the recent 2025 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, representatives of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways Joint Stock Company optimistically assessed the possibility of reaching break-even point for core operations in 2025, creating an important premise for making a profit in the near future.

According to a representative of Bamboo Airways, in a strong restructuring effort, the airline has implemented many solutions to improve operational efficiency, maintain stability and improve financial "health" and achieved some positive results: revenue almost reached the set plan, operating costs decreased, and operating losses were significantly improved compared to the plan approved by the Board of Directors.

On this basis, Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors is optimistic about the possibility of reaching break-even point for core operations in 2025, creating an important premise for making a profit in the near future.

Recently, Bamboo Airways has actively met, discussed and worked with many financial partners and domestic and foreign investors to supplement financial resources for the next phase.

At the same time, the company is also preparing 5-year strategic plans (2025-2030) to work with consulting firms and strategic investors.

Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors is optimistic about the possibility of reaching break-even point for core operations in 2025.

“A huge opportunity is opening up for Bamboo Airways. The Board of Directors believes that Bamboo Airways will soon find a strategic investor, achieve sustainable financial stability and continue to grow strongly in the future. This congress is a step to perfect the management apparatus, preparing to receive resources from new strategic investors,” Bamboo Airways representative expected.

Bamboo Airways Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders approved the resignations of Mr. Phan Dinh Tue and Ms. Le Thi Truc Quynh. These two members resigned to focus on other important management and operational tasks.

Mr. Tue will focus on management at Sacombank , the unit that has been closely accompanying Bamboo Airways during the recovery and development period. Ms. Truc Quynh will focus on her expertise as Deputy General Director of Bamboo Airways, closely accompanying the Executive Board in managing, operating and developing the airline.

Bamboo Airways shareholders have elected two additional members to the Board of Directors.

The Congress also elected two additional members to the Board of Directors, Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh and Mr. Vuong Cong Duc.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh has 25 years of experience in the field of real estate investment and business, and has held senior leadership positions in many enterprises. Mr. Vuong Cong Duc is a lawyer with nearly 30 years of experience in the field of Law-Finance-Banking, having held senior management and executive positions in many enterprises and financial institutions and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Sacombank.

Mr. Tue and Mr. Duc are both important personnel of Sacombank, a partner playing a key role in the restructuring process and long-term companion of Bamboo Airways.

In the coming period, Mr. Vuong Cong Duc will take over the duties at Bamboo Airways from Mr. Phan Dinh Tue, while Mr. Tue will continue to support and coordinate with Mr. Duc at Sacombank, aiming for the goal of recovery and sustainable development.

Thus, the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways for the 2023-2028 term has 5 members including Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh, Mr. Vuong Cong Duc, Mr. Le Thai Sam, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trong and Mr. Le Ba Nguyen. The Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways will hold a meeting as soon as possible to elect a new Chairman of the Board of Directors, ensuring that the leadership apparatus is complete and operates smoothly.
