Within the framework of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the 2025 Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week, on the morning of April 6, at Van Lang Park Lake (Viet Tri City), the Viet Tri Open Rowing Tournament 2025 took place.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai and Secretary of the Viet Tri City Party Committee Duong Hoang Huong presented the Cup and First Prize to the Bach Hac ward combing team.

The Viet Tri Open Rowing Tournament in the year of At Ty 2025 has the participation of 270 athletes from 9 rowing teams, of which Viet Tri city has 5 teams (Bach Hac and Duu Lau wards; Song Lo, Phuong Lau and Trung Vuong communes); 4 teams from districts including Thanh Thuy, Cam Khe, Tam Nong and Doan Hung.

Secretary of Viet Tri City Party Committee Duong Hoang Huong and leaders of Viet Tri City People's Committee presented souvenir flags and flowers to the brushing teams.

The teams completed the 2.6km swim. After the 9 teams participated in the knockout round, based on the finishing time of the teams, the Organizing Committee selected 4 teams (including 3 teams that finished first in the group stage and 1 team with the best second place) to compete in the Final round. In the final competition: 4 teams compete in 1 round to determine the rankings of First, Second, Third place.

After a very urgent competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the team of Bach Hac ward (Viet Tri city); the second prize to the team of Doan Hung district; and the third prize to the teams of Cam Khe district and Tam Nong district. The encouragement prize went to the team of Thanh Thuy district and 4 teams of Viet Tri city, including: Phuong Lau, Song Lo, Duu Lau, Trung Vuong.

The Viet Tri Open Rowing Tournament is an annual activity held during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural Tourism Week - Ancestral Land to preserve and honor the unique cultural values ​​of rowing art. This is a collective sports playground, helping athletes have many opportunities to exchange, learn experiences and strengthen solidarity, creating a premise to raise the scale of the organization to become a National Professional Rowing Tournament in the near future.
