In his latest blog, analyst Ming Chi Kuo cited supply chain sources as saying that Apple will enter the home security camera market in 2026. The “bitten apple” aims to ship tens of millions of units, suggesting that this will be a key accessory in the company’s product line.

Apple could have a big impact on the security camera market if it enters the fray.

According to Mr. Kuo, Apple's security camera will interact with other devices of the same company through wireless connection, creating an advantage over other camera manufacturers. He believes that the user experience will be especially good thanks to the large ecosystem and deep integration with Apple Intelligence, Siri.

Apple's security camera could become part of a smart home ecosystem around the HomeKit platform, allowing users to view video or interact with the camera via Apple TV, iPhone, Apple Watch or other Apple devices.

If this information is accurate, Apple will likely have a major impact on the home security camera market.

The focus on privacy and security could set a new standard for the industry, which has seen a series of major breaches and leaks over the years.

In addition, Mr. Kuo also revealed that another product that Apple is developing is AirPods headphones equipped with more health features. Goertek will also be the main supplier of this device.
