According to Mr. Tuan, to ensure the lives and property of passengers, the port authority has temporarily suspended the operation of ferry routes from the mainland to Phu Quoc, Nam Du and vice versa until further notice.

Information from the provincial hydrometeorological station, the weather in the sea areas of Rach Gia, Phu Quoc and Tho Chau in the next 24 hours will be gusts of level 6, in thunderstorms gusts of level 7, 8; waves from 1-2m high.

Previously, from August 31 to September 3, Kien Giang province recorded heavy rain and strong winds that collapsed and blew off the roofs of 4 houses in Go Quao and Vinh Thuan districts. A barge carrying construction materials was sunk by waves in the Hon Tre sea area (Kien Hai), causing 3 crew members to drift, but were fortunately rescued.

The edge of super typhoon No. 3 Yagi 'touches' the mainland, the North begins to have heavy rain with thunder and lightning . Super typhoon No. 3 Yagi remains at level 16 in the East Sea, continuing to move rapidly into the Gulf of Tonkin. Affected by the edge of the storm, the Northeast region, from Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue, will have strong thunderstorms from today.
