U23 Vietnam identifies the first 4 names to be called up, VFF completes preparations for the U23 Asian Qualifiers

The list of U23 Vietnam has not been officially announced. However, according to the recent announcement on the poster of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Coach Kim Sang Sik appeared with the above 4 players. This information was later confirmed by VFF.

These are also the 4 faces who won the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship with U23 Vietnam at the end of July and regularly appeared in previous tournaments of the Vietnam National Team and U23 Vietnam in late 2024 and the first half of 2025.

After round 3 of V.League 2025/26, U23 Vietnam will focus on preparing for the 2026 U23 Asian qualifiers. The team will have 1 week of training before entering 3 matches against U23 Bangladesh.

Previously, VFF coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province to organize a meeting to deploy preparations for Group C - Qualifying Round of the 2026 AFC U23 Championship. At the meeting, delegates discussed and agreed on a plan to assign specific tasks to each department, from competition organization, security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention, health , electricity, food hygiene and safety to logistics for the teams. The Organizing Committee also agreed on a plan to issue tickets both online and directly at Viet Tri Stadium to create favorable conditions for fans to come and cheer.

According to the plan, Group C will take place at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ) from September 3 to 9 with the participation of four teams: U23 Yemen, U23 Singapore, U23 Bangladesh and host U23 Vietnam. Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will open with a match against U23 Bangladesh at 8:00 p.m. on September 3, then face U23 Singapore (8:00 p.m. on September 6) and U23 Yemen (8:00 p.m. on September 9).

The winners of Group C and the four best runners-up from the 11 groups will join hosts Saudi Arabia in qualifying for the 2026 finals.

In order to best serve the audience, the tournament organizers recently announced a ticket sales plan with prices of 300,000 VND/ticket, 200,000 VND/ticket and 100,000 VND/ticket depending on the location.

The online ticket sales period includes 3 phases. In which, phase 1 from 09:00 on August 25, 2025 to 23:59 on August 27, 2025, customers can simultaneously buy tickets to watch the matches on September 3, September 6 and September 9. Phase 2 from 00:00 on August 28, 2025 to 23:59 on September 2, 2025, customers can simultaneously buy tickets to watch the matches on September 6 and September 9. Phase 3 from 00:00 on September 3, 2025 to 23:59 on September 5, 2025, customers buy tickets to watch the matches on September 9;
