An Giang: Arrested a subject transporting 1,100 packs of cigarettes of unknown origin

Identifying this as an act of transporting smuggled goods, the task force approached and arrested one subject, the remaining subject fled to the other side of the border.

During the investigation, the arrested subject revealed his name as Pham Hong Cong, born in 1973, residing in Vinh Chanh 3 Hamlet, Chau Doc Ward. In addition to the above amount of cigarettes, the border guards temporarily seized 1 tire casing, 1 tire machine, 1 motorbike, etc. The total value of the evidence was about 18 million VND.
