239 poor but studious students were awarded PeaceTrees Vietnam scholarships

This morning, October 15, the Quang Tri Provincial Association for Promotion of Education in collaboration with the PeaceTrees Vietnam Organization organized a ceremony to award PeaceTrees Vietnam scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year to 239 poor but studious students in the province with a total amount of more than 910 million VND.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded 102 scholarships to primary and secondary school students, each worth 2.3 million VND; 78 scholarships to high school students, each worth 3.45 million VND; 59 scholarships to college and university students, each worth 6.9 million VND.

Students receiving PeaceTrees Vietnam scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year all come from very difficult family circumstances, many of whom are disabled, orphans, ethnic minorities, and children of bomb and mine victims.

The scholarships have timely shared difficulties and encouraged students to continue to excel in their studies.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded a gold plaque of merit to the PeaceTrees Vietnam Organization.
