However, patient Tuat needed a transfusion of blood type B platelets, but his family did not have a compatible blood type, while blood supplies at the hospital were scarce.

At this time, the Central Highlands General Hospital informed the Steering Committee of the "Volunteer Red Soldier" model of the Krong No District Police (Dak Nong) for help.

Immediately afterwards, the Steering Committee of the Krong No District Police mobilized Major Nguyen Van Dung, Deputy Chief of Nam Nung Commune Police, and Lieutenant Vi Duc Anh, an officer of Nam Nung Commune Police - people with blood type B - to temporarily stop work and travel nearly 70km to the Central Highlands General Hospital to complete blood donation procedures.

Thanks to the timely blood donation of two police officers, the surgery was a success and patient Mai Van Tuat's health gradually stabilized.

After completing the blood donation for patient Tuat, Major Dung and Lieutenant Duc Anh visited and encouraged the patient and his family before returning to the unit to continue working.
