10 years of spreading good living values of the Dream Incubation Fund

The year 2025 marks a memorable milestone of a decade of SeABank 's Dream Incubation Fund. On this meaningful occasion, the Fund continues to sponsor 10 more poor and studious students in Hanoi, Bac Ninh, and Hai Phong, bringing the total number of supported students to 219. The 10-year journey is a clear demonstration of SeABank's commitment to fulfilling its community responsibilities and spreading the value of love.

The persistent journey to light up knowledge

The Dream Nurturing Scholarship Fund was established by SeABank in 2015 with the desire to accompany and support children in difficult circumstances but striving to excel in their studies. Since its inception, the Fund has awarded lifelong scholarships for general education worth 1 million VND/month/student until they finish high school. Currently, this scholarship has increased to 1.5 million VND/month/student. Along with that, the Fund also supports 10 million VND in startup scholarships for each student after graduation to continue supporting them in their future journey, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of society.

Students sponsored by the Dream Incubation Fund were excited to visit SeABank Headquarters.

From a humane idea, the Dream Incubation Fund has become a symbol of spreading good living values at SeABank, connecting loving hearts in the community to support the seeds of the future. Each year, not only has the number of supported students increased, but the affection and heart towards the community of SeABank employees has also been increasingly expanded. In 2025, on the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the Fund continued to sponsor 10 more poor but studious students in Hanoi , Bac Ninh, and Hai Phong, bringing the total number of sponsored students to 219.

After the research process, 10 children were awarded scholarships by the Fund not only because of their special circumstances but also because of their admirable determination and perseverance in learning. The new students will officially receive scholarships starting from July 2025 and lasting until the end of high school. The entire scholarship will be transferred to their guardians. Among the students sponsored by the Fund this time, the case of Nguyen Hai Thuy Ngan ( Bac Ninh ) is particularly difficult because she does not have a father, and her mother has a serious illness but is the main breadwinner of the family. Her source of income depends on her job as a dishwasher at a restaurant, raising two children and her elderly parents who are unable to work. Despite her difficult family circumstances, Ngan is an excellent student of class 6A at Lim Secondary School (Bac Ninh), won the Encouragement Prize in Literature in the Excellent Student Competition last school year and is always loved by friends and teachers.

Although they seem to be vulnerable to adversity, Ngan and many other studious students being supported by the Fund are living proof of the power of will and knowledge.

Together we continue the journey for the community

Over the past decade, the Fund has accompanied 219 poor but studious students on their journey to conquer knowledge, through the form of monthly scholarships. To date, the total amount of money the Fund has supported students is nearly 13 billion VND. Not only is it simply financial support, each scholarship is also a word of encouragement, a handshake full of trust from SeABank employees who are always ready to share. Currently, 59 of them have graduated from high school, many of them continue to study at university and college, opening the door to dreams that once seemed far away.

In the 2024 National High School Exam, Nguyen Thu Trang (supported by the Fund since 2018) excellently passed all exams with high scores, achieving 28.8 points and passing all majors she applied for. However, the determined student chose to study Digital Marketing at the University of Commerce by applying based on her high school transcript and IELTS certificate. Trang grew up without enough care from her mother, she lived with her grandmother and father. When she was in 11th grade, her grandmother passed away, leaving only her father and daughter to rely on each other, her father did not have a stable job. Despite the difficulties, Trang still tried hard every day, was an excellent student for many years and always maintained the top position in the class.

Nguyen Thu Trang, a freshman at the University of Commerce, expressed her gratitude for the attention she received from the Bank.

"On this journey, I will always remember that I am not alone, that I always receive support from people who are devoted to the development of the young generation like the uncles and aunts who are working at SeABank. With the support from the Dream Incubation Fund, I will be able to continue firmly on the path of knowledge. I hope that one day in the near future, I can also contribute a small part of my efforts to the community, just like what SeABank has been doing," Trang confided when receiving the Startup Scholarship from the Fund.

Education is considered the foundation for the future, a solid launching pad for the young generation to change their lives, which is also the reason why the Dream Incubation Fund was established. SeABank's support for students is not only to support tuition fees, but also a sustainable commitment, a source of motivation to help them train themselves, live responsibly, and cultivate more skills to become useful people for society and contribute to the community. The vast sky out there is waiting for the small but strong and confident bird to spread its wings and the Dream Incubation Fund believes that each student will have a bright, happy future and become brave, intelligent citizens, full of enthusiasm and aspiration to contribute to building the country.

To date, 59 students sponsored by the Fund have graduated from high school and continued to higher education as desired. The Fund also supports 10 million VND in startup scholarships for each high school graduate to continue supporting them in their future journey, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of society.
