Regarding the case of emergency treatment of child MTA according to information reported by the press: "The hospital requires enough money to provide emergency treatment for the child who was run over by a tractor" at Nam Dinh General Hospital on May 3, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health sent a document to the Director of the Department of Health of Nam Dinh province.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Health requested the Director of the Department of Health of Nam Dinh province to urgently direct a review of the process of receiving and treating emergency cases of MTA at Nam Dinh General Hospital, comparing it with the provisions of Article 44, Law on Medical Examination and Treatment No. 15/2023/QH15 and current regulations; strictly handle individuals and groups if violations of the above regulations are detected. At the same time, coordinate with the National Children's Hospital to detect professional limitations (if any) and promptly correct them.

The Ministry of Health requests the Director of the Department of Health to urgently direct and implement the above contents; report the results to the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management before May 6, 2025 for synthesis and reporting to the Ministry's leaders.

Initial information, at about 3:50 p.m. on May 3, on the inter-hamlet road in Hamlet 7, Thanh Loi Commune (Vu Ban District, Nam Dinh Province), a traffic accident occurred, injuring a child named MTA (4 years old, residing in Thanh Loi Commune).

TA was taken to Nam Dinh General Hospital by some local people for emergency treatment. However, according to Mr. TT (the person who took TA to the hospital), TA was not given timely emergency treatment by doctors at Nam Dinh General Hospital because he did not pay the full hospital fee.

In the clip posted on social media, TA's face was pale, being carried by a young man to the front door of the emergency room. Meanwhile, TT expressed his dissatisfaction with the doctors: "I ran a red light to take my child to the emergency room but didn't bring much money, only 500,000 VND , but the doctors said I had to have enough money to provide emergency care."

Mr. T. was upset because the child was run over by a tractor. He took the child to the hospital 10 minutes ago but did not receive emergency care.
