Building Canh Vinh commune to become a key commune for industrial development of the province

Also attending the Congress were comrades: Dang Vinh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Huynh Thuy Van - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and 135 delegates representing 646 party members in the entire Party Committee.

Canh Vinh commune was established on the basis of merging the communes: Canh Vinh (old), Canh Hien, Canh Hiep and Canh Tien village (belonging to Canh Lien commune). The commune has an area of nearly 259 km², population of 16,765 people (ethnic minorities account for 15.3%).

During the 2020-2025 term, in the context of many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee and people of Canh Vinh commune have strived and achieved important results in all fields. The work of building the Party and the political system has been strengthened; the leadership capacity, fighting strength of grassroots party organizations, party organizations and the quality of cadres and party members have been gradually improved. The economy has maintained a fairly high growth rate, the economic structure has shifted in a positive direction; infrastructure has been invested and gradually improved; the material and spiritual life of the people has improved significantly.

Based on the analysis of potential and new development requirements, the Canh Vinh Commune Party Committee identified 3 key breakthroughs in the 2025-2030 term, including: Synchronizing modern socio -economic infrastructure, creating a foundation for urban development; eliminating poverty, improving people's quality of life; building the commune into a unique tourist destination, with Canh Tien village as the core. These 3 breakthroughs are both urgent tasks and long-term strategic, creating a solid foundation for the commune to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming an urban area in the near future.

Based on the identification of 3 breakthroughs for leadership and implementation, the Canh Vinh Commune Party Committee strives to achieve a growth rate of local product value in the 2025-2030 period of 33.9%. Total export turnover reaches 69 million USD. By 2030, the state budget revenue in the area will reach 24.7 billion VND. Strive to attract at least 15 new projects during the term. Retail sales of goods and services reach 2,112 billion VND. Forest cover remains at 69.8%.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan praised and congratulated the achievements of the Party Committee and People of Canh Vinh commune in the past term.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized: Canh Vinh commune has many important potentials, including the Becamex VSIP Industrial-Urban-Service Park of 1,425 hectares, 5 industrial clusters of 375 hectares; is a traffic hub connecting the economic zones in the South of the province with the Central Coast via National Highway 19C and the route connecting National Highway 19-Becamex VSIP Industrial Park-Quy Nhon Port.

In particular, Canh Vinh is planned by the province as a key commune for industrial development. This is both an opportunity to attract large projects, creating breakthroughs in the economy, employment and people's lives; and a challenge in thinking, orientation and methods for sustainable development.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested the Party Committee and the Canh Vinh commune government to always be proactive, promote the spirit of innovation, creativity, dare to think, dare to do, dare to break through for the common good to create clear changes in all fields.

The entire political system must be dynamic, innovate leadership, direction and administration thinking, strongly shift from "management and control" administration to "service and innovation" administration, consider people and businesses as the center, as "customers" of state administrative agencies, thereby comprehensively innovating service methods.

At the same time, promote the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, daring to make breakthroughs for the common good. Strictly apply the principle of "6 clear": clear who does the work - clear time limit - clear responsibility - clear results - clear authority in managing and handling work.

On that basis, promote the advantage of being a locality with Becamex VSIP industrial, urban and service zones, promote investment attraction, form and develop satellite industrial clusters, clean industrial projects, deep processing industry, supporting industry, logistics services... Continue to invest and synchronously complete socio-economic infrastructure, especially traffic infrastructure, service- tourism infrastructure , culture-society, information technology. Build Canh Vinh commune to become a key commune for industrial development of the province.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee; the positions of Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee, for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Party Executive Committee of the commune has 26 members. Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune.
