Building Phu Thuong ward green, civilized, modern, worthy of being a locality rich in revolutionary tradition

On the morning of August 21, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Thuong Ward held a ceremony to offer incense and flowers to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the heroic Vietnamese Mothers, and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.

This meaningful activity took place at the National Special Historical Relic (Nguyen Thi An's House - Phu Thuong Ward) - where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked from August 23, 1945 to August 25, 1945 before preparing for the day of reading the Declaration of Independence at the historic Ba Dinh Square.

This is a meaningful traditional activity on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); 80 years since Uncle Ho returned to live and work in Phu Thuong ward.

This activity also aims to promote the tradition of morality, remember the source of drinking water, remember the person who planted the tree when eating fruit, and contribute to organizing activities to repay gratitude, to pay tribute to heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and to heroic Vietnamese mothers who dedicated their most beloved children to the cause of national liberation.

At the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of Phu Thuong Ward Party Committee - Tran Quang Dao; Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Thuong Ward - Truong Tu Uyen; Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee - Bui The Cuong; leaders of the ward's departments and branches and Head of the Front Work Committee of the residential group in the ward respectfully offered incense at the relic.

Paying tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Thuong Ward pledged to unite, promote the role of the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations, actively participate in Party building and government building. The Front system, from the ward to the residential group, pledged to make efforts, constantly strive, and fulfill its tasks well, contributing to building Phu Thuong Ward green, civilized, and modern, worthy of being a locality rich in revolutionary traditions, dynamic, creative, and a livable place in the Capital.
