Illegal construction of "huge" project in technology industrial park

Kingfa Science & Technology Co., Ltd. is located at Lot 9, Road N7, Long Thanh High-Tech Industrial Park (Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province).

This company has started construction of factory items and has carried out pile driving and reinforced concrete foundation pouring with an area of ​​over ^8,000m2 , even though it has not been granted a construction permit by the authorities.

While constructing the above items, this company was discovered by Long Thanh district authorities and a report was made.

Then on January 24, the Chairman of Long Thanh District People's Committee issued Decision No. 728/QD-XPHC to administratively sanction Kingfa Science & Technology Company Limited at Long Thanh High-Tech Industrial Park for organizing construction without a construction permit.

The amount of administrative fine imposed on this company is 130 million VND. At the same time, the authorities requested Kingfa Science & Technology Company Limited to remedy the consequences by stopping construction of the violating project. The time limit for implementing remedial measures is 90 days from the date of issuance of the decision on administrative penalty.

If within 90 days, Kingfa Science & Technology Co., Ltd. fails to present relevant documents to the competent authorities, it will be forced to dismantle the violating construction or part of the construction according to the provisions of law.

During this time, Kingfa Science & Technology Co., Ltd. was required to stop construction of the violating project to complete related licensing procedures. This company continued to be reported for construction of previously violating items, even though the related licensing procedures and documents had not been completed.

According to information, on February 23, Long Thanh district authorities inspected Kingfa Science & Technology Company Limited regarding compliance with the previous decision.

Here, the inspection team recorded the current status of the factory area and the electric waste room area with concrete floors and foundations (previously only pile driving and reinforced concrete foundations were done), currently the project has stopped operating.

The inspection team requested Kingfa Science & Technology Co., Ltd. to strictly comply with the decision of the District People's Committee and promptly supplement complete legal documents within the deadline.

It is known that Long Thanh High-Tech Industrial Park has an investor, Amata Long Thanh Urban Joint Stock Company, with an area of ​​up to 410.31 hectares and a total investment capital of 282 million USD.
