Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of U Huan province spoke at the meeting.
On the morning of August 19, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee U Huan chaired a working session with the Standing Committee of the Tay Tra Bong Commune Party Committee on the implementation of tasks after nearly 2 months of official operation after the merger.
Attending the meeting were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam; leaders of relevant departments and branches.
Tay Tra Bong commune was established on the basis of merging Huong Tra commune, Tra Tay commune and part of Tra Bui commune, with an area of over 129km², including 14 villages, 1,884 households with 8,078 people. Of which, the Cor ethnic group accounts for 97.43% of the population. The rate of poor households according to multidimensional poverty standards accounts for 46.18%. The commune meets 11/19 criteria for new rural construction.
Regarding agricultural production, the whole commune has 658 hectares of annual crops. The total herd of cattle is nearly 5,000 heads, poultry is nearly 9,600 heads. The current forest area is more than 7,900 hectares.
The commune Party Committee currently has 24 subordinate Party cells with 416 Party members. Since its establishment, the commune Party Committee has proactively followed the central and provincial directives and guidelines, focused on leading and directing the stabilization of the apparatus, ensuring uninterrupted administrative activities, and serving the needs of the people well. In particular, the commune successfully organized the 1st Commune Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam responded to some recommendations of Tay Tra Bong commune at the working session.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Tay Tra Bong Commune Party Committee proposed the Provincial People's Committee to direct the acceleration of the construction progress of 3 resettlement areas in Tay, Tra Linh and Vang villages; and soon complete the general planning of the commune to be consistent with the socio -economic development orientation of the province.
At the same time, the commune proposed to continue investing in upgrading Provincial Road 622D and inter-village and inter-commune roads; calling on businesses to participate in building a value chain for production - processing - consumption of Tra Nham tea products associated with the development of organic agricultural tourism . In addition, the locality also hopes to receive financial support for repairing infrastructure and equipment serving the activities of the commune government.
Concluding the working session, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee U Huan highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and efforts of the Tay Tra Bong Commune Party Committee in quickly perfecting the organizational apparatus and effectively operating the local government after its establishment.
Comrade U Huan emphasized that for a mountainous commune with many difficulties like Tay Tra Bong, the key task in the coming time is to develop the economy in conjunction with the local potential and advantages to sustainably reduce poverty.
“Request localities to review key crops suitable to the climate and soil conditions of the region to focus on development. Propaganda and mobilize people to promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, change their thinking and working methods, take care of labor and production to increase income and improve life,” Comrade U Huan suggested.
In addition, Comrade U Huan also requested the commune to effectively implement projects, programs, ethnic policies and 3 national target programs in the locality; conduct surveys and review poor and near-poor households according to the multidimensional approach standards in 2025, and strive to reduce poor households according to the set plan.
In addition, urgently prepare necessary conditions to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, especially effectively implementing the Project to rearrange and reorganize the network of kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in the commune.
Comrade U Huan requested the Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches to seriously absorb local recommendations and promptly advise the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appropriate solutions.
